About Us

began SingPlayMusic studio in May of 2012 after discovering the Let’s Play Music Program through a friend. She had been directing church kids choirs and had taught private piano and 1st and 2nd grade and was ready for her own kids to start piano lessons. . She found 22 other students to join that first year and taught 3 classes of kiddos the joy of staff reading, rhythm, and all the foundational skills to begin piano. Within a few years she was teaching several days a week at 2 locations. The program has continued to grow and after 3 years she added Sound Beginnings to the studio. She was part of the pilot team for the LPM Bridge program for graduates and Presto, the older beginner version of LPM. These programs were each added in 2016 and 2017. She began working part time on the Presto Training Team in 2017 and loves getting to meet and support new teachers all over the U.S and Canada and bringing the joy of music to other communities. Her favorite part of running SingPlayMusic studio is seeing entire families find the joy and delight in learning music and piano.
